Pylon® adds greenhouse vegetables to label
Our indoor miticide Pylon® has undergone a label expansion which enhances an already-broad label. Growers may now use Pylon® on greenhouse grown fruiting vegetables including tomatoes, tomatillos, ground cherry, peppers, eggplant, and pepinos. Some of the labeled pests on greenhouse vegetables include thrips, mites, caterpillars, armyworms, pinworms, fruitworms, hornworms, and cabbage loopers.
In addition, for application to ornamentals, Pylon® has mites, fungus gnats, and foliar nematodes on the label.
On greenhouse grown fruiting vegetables, Pylon® may be applied up to and including the day of harvest. Some of the other features of Pylon®:
- Highly translaminar
- Active on larval and adult life cycle stages
- 12-hour REI and CAUTION signal word
As with all miticides, good pest management practices are a must to ensure the effectiveness of the product.
See the label for complete instructions on how to maximize Pylon® on greenhouse grown fruiting vegetables.
