OHP to offer OMRI-listed line of products

In the near future, OHP will be offering a line of OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) listed products for growers. The products are approved for use by OMRI and are aimed at growers who produce “organically-grown” ornamentals, vegetables, herbs, etc. OMRI is a national non-profit organization that determines which input products are allowed for use in organic production.

OMRI listed – or approved – products may be used in operations that are certified organic under the USDA National Organic Program. Among the products in the line are Azatin® O Biological Insecticide, Deliver® Biological Insecticide, Naturalis® O Insecticide, Triact®70 Fungicide/ Miticide/Insecticide, and Soilgard® Microbial Fungicide. “We feel there is a need for products that satisfy the organic grower, ” notes Dan Stahl, OHP vice president of marketing and business development.“ Over time, we will offer more products that fit this profile.”
